The idea to develop a flexible office and meeting space center began about two years. Greg needed a space to launch his real estate business. Doug had a company in an office building with excess tenant capacity near downtown. So Doug provided Greg a very affordable space to start his business. And the two began to collaborate on how to give new life to this functional yet underutilized building. About that time, the open coworking/flexible office concept began to take hold in Indianapolis. The team closely followed IEDC’s efforts to revitalize the southeastern corridor of Indianapolis. By 2022 there is a planned 500-acre development of the new Indianapolis Community Justice Center that will aid in the revitalization efforts of the southeast side of Indianapolis.
With their building just 8 minutes from downtown, close to Irvington and Fountain Square neighborhoods as well as the city of Beech Grove, they renovated the 3960 Southeastern Avenue building into a modern, professional office center. Now they are ready to rent this awesome coworking space to fellow entrepreneurs at affordable rates. The EnterChange team can flex the spacing options from temporary to long-term alternatives to support the evolving needs of members. Membership fees are based on month-to-month rentals, although hourly alternative rates are available.
Greg and Doug have included many useful amenities for members within the 20,000 square feet of flexible office space. In addition to the coworking spaces and office space, there are six conference rooms, a copy/print workstation, two kitchens with coffee and tea service, a fitness center and free parking. Members can also use the private recording room and video studio, training room, executive boardroom and The Vault – a unique event space that includes a comfy theater room for 8, a private bar and seating area, a billiard room and a shuffleboard game. Plenty of open space nearby to set up additional seating and meal function areas.
